Last week Cristiano Ronaldo made an interview with TVI channel Portugal about the usual stuff, the Euro 2012, Champions League and La liga. But there’s small part when he mentioned his son, and confirmed that his name is Cristiano Ronaldo (Dos Santos), the same as him. He also told the interviewer that he always together with his son, and that Ronaldo Jr now puts more interest in cars…..lol..like father like son….
Here’s the video, but it’s over 20 minutes. If you wait, you can hear when he mentioned his son’s name.
Cristiano Ronaldo Interview WIth El Partido de las 12 (14 June 2011)Pictures
Finally, after a week avoiding the media, Ronaldo appears on a radio interview with “El Partido de las 12″. As his fans, I’m so curious about the whole ManCity transfer rumor and all, but I was so relieve when he clarifies on the interview that he’s not going anywhere, and will stick to Real Madrid.
I hope it’s true though. Coz back then when he was still in ManUtd, he also said the same that he won’t leave the team. However, after the summer was over, he wore a different shirt.
On the interview, Ronaldo also answered some of the personal stuff like his favorite food, singer, etc…. Here are some of the interesting one.
Favorite Food : Paella (Spanish seafood with rice)
Favorite Actress : Angelina Jolie
Favorite Movie : Silence of the Lambs ( Im surprised though. He must’ve been just a little kid when the movie first came out).
Favorite Athlete : Mike Tyson and Tiger Woods
Most Impact Stadium : Bernabeu
Favorite singer : Sade
Okay…enjoy the pictures…

Cristiano Ronaldo Interview in "Real Cristiano" – Pictures and Video
And not just that, the whole 8 minute interview in English !!
His Spanish interview is a bit different with the English, but it much enjoyable watching him speaking English, which I find so sexy……(his accent) Here we go…
Cristiano Ronaldo in ‘Real Cristiano’ Interview
With El Clasico ahead us, Cristiano interview in Real Madrid TV seems to be forgotten. So here I’m going to post some of his interview at ‘Real Cristiano’, but just the interesting part. The interview was 45 minutes in length, and most of it we already heard. You know, same stuff about his family, club, childhood, friends…..
OK, here are the facts that you should know….
What is the music to Cristiano Ronaldo?
Singing is not what I do best, but sing a little bit.The music drags all of us, we hear it before workouts, parties, part of Real Madrid’s family. Music is part of my life. I’ve grew up in music, I like it because it relaxes me before the match.
What is your favorite music?
I like all music, depends on the mood,…it depends on many factors.
Marcelo’s always smiling. How do you see him?
A positive person. Marcelo is a special person , every day we laugh, joking. He is a very happy guy, and gives a good influence. I consider myself a lucky guy because I’m easy to get close with a person who jokes a lot.I love the team, it’s phenomenal. It’s easy to grow and learn in such environment.
What thing that you can’t tollerate?
A lie. It’s the worst thing for me. I can accept a positive lie, but it’s a thing that gets me angry.
At age 16 you realized that your life would be for football?
Yes, I started to feel it. Training with Sporting’s first team meant that the studies had to change, times were very complicated. I had to study at night and there came a time when football could not reconcile with the studies. I chose football and I think it was the best decision.
Remember how much you got paid in your first paycheck in football?
50 euros. And I paid for books and notebooks for school.
In 2003 he crosses paths with Manchester United in a friendly and a couple players tell Ferguson: “Take this guy, which is very good.”
People have the idea that the agreement was after the game, but it was before. He was 18 and came to an agreement with Manchester.
You faced Manchester United in a friendly back in 2003 and a couple of their players told Ferguson to sign you.
People think we reached a deal after the game, but it actually happened before. I was 18 years old. Apparently it was Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Ferdinand who talked to Ferguson. They were the best players on the team back then, and it makes me very happy.
You ever thought that you would become as what you’ve achieved now ?
No. I thought I was going to be a player who can make a good page in the club history, but I never thought I could win the Champions League, a Golden Ball, a FIFA World Player … At least when I arrived at Manchester at 17.
What is the best advice you have in football?
Lots of good advice. It wouldn’t be fair to say only one. My coaches, former players, are important people … I always listen to people who have a good idea of football.
How is Cristiano as a dad ?
I’m good dad. I’m still learning. It’s a feeling you can not put into words. It’s impressive to wake up and see a person, your own flesh and blood. I’m living a very special moment in my life.
Tell me the feelings and the sensations you get
I’ve been a dad for nine months and something new surprises every day: a smile, a gesture, a look… It is spectacular. Having children and enjoy our time with them is the most beautiful thing we can do. I think he’s going to be very smart, at least smarter than me. I will let him be whatever he wants. I won’t make him become a footballer. I’m not going to lie to you; I would like him to be my successor, but he will be whatever God wants him to be.
When you have a famous girlfriend, it must be hard to have a normal life.
If I had a normal girl with a simple job, it would still be the same. If you’re famous you have something to sell.We must learn to live with those situations. Sometimes you can not do simple things because people will see or try to take pictures to sell, but we have to adapt to that and live with it.
What’s the strangest thing you have done to go unnoticed?
Once in New York asked the driver to drop me off at a site near the hotel because there were many journalists waiting at the door. I pretended to be drunk with a friend, and entered the hotel with our head down.
Then they were discussing about the league, clasico and other match.
There are plenty pictures, but I haven’t had enough time to post it. Hopefully, tomorrow I’m able to fix my spare time for the pics, also uploading the video on Youtube.

Cristiano Ronaldo Interview With AS
Cristiano Ronaldo did an interview with daily AS, but I’m not going to write the detail of the interview, since it”s all about the same as the other interview. About his career, champions league, coach Mourinho, problems in away match, family, and bla…bla…
So I just wrote the interesting part, as you can read here :
Do you see the Arsenal capable of eliminating the Barcelona?
Arsenal played very well, but Barcelona is very strong. I have curiosity to see second leg match at Camp Nou, because it will be a great match to see what happens.
Is Messi a better player when Xavi and Iniesta on his side?
It helps to be better, that’s for sure. Messi knows that these players are very important to him. In fact, they won the European Championship and World Cup. We are not talking about normal players, we’re talking about great players. It’s clear that Messi is a phenomenon, but at this time Xavi and Iniesta can be the two most important players of Barcelona and those who make more than the difference in pitch. And I also like Pedro.
What it’s like having Cristiano and Messi play together in a team ?
I don’t know. Perhaps in the PlayStation we would both very well. Sure they will going to do well (smiles).

Irina Shayk Interviews After Sports Illustrated Announced
After being announced as the cover for Sports Illustrated magz, Irina gets to be seen on many interviews. It looks like she enjoys all the attention, where she stands on the spotlight, known as her career, and not as CR girlfriend.
On the interview with David Letterman, she spoke about her experience doing the shoots for SI in different countries.
Irina also doing an interview on CNBC, about Sports Illustration shoots. On the interview, she said that she doesn’t need anyone else for getting to be on the cover. But during the interviews, she never spoke about her relationship with CR. Well, she wants to keep it all about herself I guess, and that’s totally fine. But what surprised me the most when Iri made an interview with SBN, she claims that she doesn’t have TV on her apartment, until SI gave her 3D TV recently. “The nice thing about this Sports Illustrated tour is that I finally got a TV this year, the first I’ve had in three years in New York,”said Irina And when the interviewer asked her how long she go without Television, she answered: “I’m on the road around half of the year, so I had to explain to my friends when they came to my apartment and saw that I had no internet, no television, no food in my refrigerator, “Look, I don’t really live here. I live in planes.” I’m enjoying it, though.” NO FOOD?? Well that explains how she stays slim….=p Interview on ET HD

Cristiano Ronaldo Interview With Antena 3 (11 February 2011)
After doing an interview with El Larguero program, Cristiano Ronaldo also appeared at another interview with Antena3, also a Spanish TV program. 2 interviews in a day ? Wow ! CR must really love his fans, coz we get to see a lot of new pictures now…
The interview was basicly the same with El Larguero, talking about his career, Copa del Rey and CL, and some of his private stuff that we already know. So I’m just posting the pictures and video (and more on the gallery….).
Interview Video
Cristiano Ronaldo Interview With ‘El Larguero’
Today, Cristiano Ronaldo was having an interview with “El Larguero” a Spanish TV Program, where he told about his life in Portugal, about Copa del Rey, his life as a footballer, his rivalry with Lionel Messi, and other personal thing. He even gave time for the children who attend the interview to ask him some “private” question.
He spoke about his childhood in Portugal, where he was a kid, with a dream to be a footballer. He played ball on the street, and just stopped playing when his mother called him to go home.
He also mentioned about the insults he receives in every game, and how those who yell and curse him are the first to ask his autograph. He gets upset with the insults, but he tried not to think about it. “I covers my ears when I heard bad things, I only hear when they say “That Portuguese, so good !”
Although he doesn’t know the reason why people like to insult him, ” I don’t know if it’s because I’m good, I’m cute, or being ugly. Having what I have, just being envy…..I don’t know the truth,” he answered.
About his rivalry with Messi on Portugal last friendly against Argentina, he asked no to see the match as a personal duel between Messi and him. But he admitted that he didnt spoke with Messi during the match.
CR also said that he watches some of Barcelona’s match. ” If I’m at home, I see it, but I see other match, not just football. I like watching other sports like basketball, pingpong….”.
“Being a father has changed me”
On last summer since he announced that he became a father, his new role has changed the way he sees things. Cristiano Ronaldo had fathered, the Real Madrid player acknowledges that he has changed his way of seeing thing.
“At first it was a little strange but afterward you felt wonderful and happy,”explained CR.
“It’s going to be difficult for him, because my son will have lot of pressure on,” says the Real Madrid player, added that he wants to help his son do his homework when he grows up.
Cristiano Ronaldo Interview With Marca Part 2 Translation & Video
OK….here is Cristiano second part interview with Marca. My previous interview has a lot of bad translation, hopefully this one is the right one.
You finished the primera vuelta with 23 goals. If you keep scoring at this pace, you would win the pichichi with ¡46 goals! That would be a new record. Is the desire to surpass the record of 38 goals set by Hugo Sánchez and Zarra a motivation for you?
I don’t play to break records; I don’t think about this. What I do focus on is maintaining my level until the end of the season and to help Real Madrid win titles. I’m not obsessed with numbers, but it’s clear that I would like to and I am motivated by breaking this record.
You don’t look at the pichichi table after each matchday, to see how you and your rivals are doing?
I focus on working at the highest level to do my best for my team. And in the end if I receive an award such as this one, great. But if I had to choose between the pichichi and the Champions, it’s clear what I would choose.
What do you speak in the locker room, Portuguese or Spanish?
I speak three or four languages in the locker room (laughs). Good or bad, I speak Spanish, English, Portuguese, a bit of French and some words in German. The truth is that the atmosphere in the locker room is phenomenal.
It’s said that what the coach did during the halftime against Villarreal was great – the explanation of the tactical changes with the bottles of water on the ground.
(Hesitates a moment and then smiles) You have good sources of information (laughs)!! I believe that we should never talk about what happens inside the locker room. I’m not going to talk about this. All I’ll say is that the coach wanted us to improve and he was able to get us to do so.
Has Mourinho taken pressure and some of the media attention off of you?
Yes, Mou has taken a lot of pressure off of me, and I’m happy for that. It’s good for me, because he’s a coach that generates a lot of front pages and covers, and people like it because he generates debates. They might say good or bad things, but the important thing is that they speak about him.
Is the criticism that he receives justified? Not a day goes by without some issue.
People can say what they like, but they don’t know him. Sometimes I laugh because I read things that make no sense. Those are opinions, and we live in a democratic country where people can say what they want. I don’t really read all of it, but from what little I’ve seen, many of the things that have been said are not true or are not justified. It’s part of football, and his character.
Tell us what Mourinho is like with his players.
He defends his players, and he talks a lot with us. He’s a very open person and he listens to what you have to say, and he debates with us. I love working with him. My relationship with him, as well as the relationship between him and almost all of the players, is perfect. I hope it continues like that for many years.
Can you argue with him?
(Hesitates for a moment) Semantic issues, yes. Things about the group or the team, yes. He may or may not agree with us, but he does listen to everything.
Casillas managed to get him to delay the concentración by two hours before the last Copa del Rey game. This seems to be an issue that the team won’t give up on.
Yes, it’s true. Bit by bit, we’re going to see if we can continue to negotiate (laughs).
Do you identify with Mourinho’s personality, with his tremendous ambition?
Yes, very much so. Now that I’ve worked with him, I see that we have more things in common than I believed. I love working with persons as ambitious as him, who want to win. It makes me happy and I like it.
Would you like to be the captain of Real Madrid?
It would be an honor, but it’s not something that attracts me. I don’t feel like a leader; we all have our own personality and I can lead in other ways. I feel like an important player and I can be a leader in some things, in my own way, the same that Sergio Ramos or Iker do in other ways.
Benzema is not taking advantage of Higuaín’s absence. How do you see him?
My sincere opinion is that Benzema does not deserve all the things that are being said about him. If you analyze his last few games, you’ll see that he’s making an effort, that he’s fighting. Sometimes things don’t go well, but Karim has an enormous value for us.
You could teach him about ambition. No one doubts that he’s talented, but he seems to be a bit too apathetic.
Each person has his own character, and he’s not doing badly. I think he’s doing well: he’s improving, helping out the team and he’s contributed in the last few games. Benzema is making an effort, and we don’t need to pressure him.
Do you believe he will triumph in Real Madrid?
Why not? It will be much better for him if he’s allowed to work in peace and not so much is said about him.
Who do you feel more comfortable with, Benzema or Higuaín?
With both, that’s the truth! I swear (laughs)! But there are always players that you enjoy playing with more than others. I like both of them. They’re both phenomenal boys, so it’s not fair to say who I like playing with more. Mourinho knows what I think.
Of the young talents out there, who do you see as your successor, who resembles you?
I don’t see anyone like me, with my specific characteristics. There are a lot of great players. On Real Madrid, we have Di María, Özil, Canales…
What’s your opinion on Canales?
He’s great. But he needs more time, because he’s still growing. He’ll be a fantastic player.
Could he become a superstar?
Yes, if he’s allowed to play without pressure. He has the makings of a star, details which surprise all of us in the training sessions, but he still has a lot left to learn. I like him a lot.
Are you surprised by Di María’s performance?
Yes, although I was already familiar with him, since I follow the Portuguese league on TV and I saw him play many times with Benfica. I wasn’t completely surprised because I knew when he signed that he would do well. He’s the one that runs and fights the most on the team. A great team always needs a footballer like that. Right now he’s one of the most in-shape players on the team.
Of the canteranos that have trained with the first team, which one do you believe will go the farthest?
I’ve seen some with a lot of quality in the few times they’ve trained with us. Morata is a good player: he’s young, big, and he’s learning a lot and he could be a great footballer in the future. I also see Juanfran doing big things, and Mateos as well.
Have you met Jesé?
I’ve met all of them, but it’s difficult for me to remember everyone’s names.
Kaká started the game against Almería. Before his injury, the two of you had connected very well, both on and off the field. How is he doing now?
He will bring a lot of happiness to Madrid’s fans. He’s working very hard to return to how he was and I’m convinced he’s going to succeed. If he doesn’t suffer any more injuries, he’s going to be very important for us because he’s still a superstar.
On the field, it’s clear that he still needs to get back into the rhythm of games. Have you noticed his progression in the training sessions?
Yes, Kaká is improving. He’s not at 100 percent yet, and he needs to continue improving and playing. He’ll return to the competitive level he had, but it will be a bit difficult, since he had a serious injury and was operated on.
His situation and that of Ronaldinho are different, no?
Yes, you can’t compare the two. Kaká is a very religious boy, a great person and he likes to work. He’s one of my best friends on the team, along with Pepe and Marcelo, because we speak Portuguese. But I’m also good friend with Iker, Sergio… the truth is that I’m surprised and saddened when people say I don’t get along with others.
You’re referring to Casillas.
Yes. I don’t understand it. These things make me sad. When it’s said that I’m not playing well or that I’m an idiot, I respect that because those are opinions. But I get upset when things like this are said. I don’t know where they come from! It’s rubbish! I get along with everyone, really I do. If you ask my teammates, all of them will say the same thing.
What did you think when it was alleged that you and Iker didn’t speak?
I was shocked. How is that possible? I was good, I was scoring, my family was good, and then this happened. It was a senseless controversy. I talked about it with him.
The day that Sara Carbonero, as a journalist, criticized you, you and Iker ended up joking about it via SMS, no?
We spoke in that moment and cleared everything up. It was a misunderstanding on my part and on the part of Iker and his girlfriend, but it’s normal, and we talked and made things right. It’s not necessary to dramatize it or stir up controversy. We’re good, and I get along well with Iker and with his girlfriend. There’s nothing more to it.
What do you think about Pepe’s contract renewal?
If I were president Florentino, I would have resigned him already. Today. I would call him and say, “Hey Pepe, come on over, we’re going to resign you” (laughs). To me, he’s a phenomenal player who has to stay with Real Madrid. I say this not only because he’s my friend, but because he’s a world class player. If we already have him, it doesn’t make sense to let him go, don’t you think? It’s a matter of paying some money and signing some papers.
Well, it appears that he’s asked for a lot more money.
No, that’s what you all think. He asked for what he deserves. He has to continue with us. I would like this matter to be settled already, and I have the hope that our president will resign him because he’s one of the best in the world. I’m convinced they’ll reach an agreement.
